The LSU Tigers have been doing some great work on the recruiting trails under coach Ed Orgeron, and that continued on Sunday.

This time, the Tigers dipped into neighboring Mississippi to pick up a commitment from a 4-star wide receiver.

As you can see below, Alex Adams — a Magnolia, Mississippi, native — reportedly shut down his recruitment and committed to LSU:

Per the 247Sports rankings, Adams is the No. 59 receiver in the 2020 class and the No. 8 overall recruit from the state of Mississippi.

The Tigers now have 23 players in their 2020 recruiting class, which currently ranks No. 5 in the country and No. 3 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
