Jarvis Landry and Odell Beckham Jr. are both former LSU players, but they’re no longer NFL teammates. They were in their third season together on the Cleveland Browns, before Beckham got released and cleared waivers earlier this week.

Now, Beckham has a new team. On Thursday, he signed with the Los Angeles Rams, as he’ll look to capitalize on a fresh start and new opportunity.

Meanwhile, Landry will look to step up and help fill the void in the Browns’ receiving corps. He’s played only 5 games this season, but he’s now healthy and among the top targets in Cleveland’s offense.

The Browns and Rams don’t play each other this season, so the only way the could face off is if both teams make it to Super Bowl LVI. And Landry predicted that will happen in his farewell message to Beckham that he shared on his Instagram story on Thursday:

There was some tension between Beckham and the Browns prior to his release, so it would certainly be interesting to see that revenge game take place on the large stage.

Cleveland is 5-4 and has lost 3 of its past 5 games, so it needs to get back on track. Los Angeles lost its last game to the Tennessee Titans, but it is still 7-2 this season and among the top teams in the NFC.
