The LSU Tigers have been one of the most successful programs in college football at developing NFL stars, especially at the wide receiver position. Since 2014, the Tigers have seen 10 of their wide receivers get drafted in the NFL Draft. Former Tiger and second-year Minnesota Vikings receiver Justin Jefferson is proud to be a part of an LSU program that has a strong brotherhood.

On Aug. 9, Jefferson was interviewed in a special SportsCenter presentation detailing his stellar rookie season and his journey with LSU. When asked about coming from a colligate program that produced Odell Beckham Jr., Jarvis Landry, and now being a successful receiver in the league from LSU, Jefferson had this to say:

“It’s a very big honor to watch them and see the things they went through. Just seeing their whole career, me being a fan and now that I have that relationship with them, I’m able to call them at any time. I’m able to talk to them about anything. It’s good to have that bond with them. You know there’s always that bond coming from LSU.”

Jefferson stated that he formed a strong bond with Beckham and Landry, who were both drafted before Jefferson arrived at LSU. Jefferson is a player that molded his career in the style of both Beckham and Landry. These are both players that Jefferson looks up to as he continues to be one of the top young receivers in the league.
