LSU has produced some great defensive backs over the years, and Greedy Williams looks like the next on that list.

After snagging six interceptions last season, Williams picked off his first pass of 2018 on Saturday night against Southeastern Louisiana.

As you can hear in the soundbite below, Williams was confused as to why the opposing quarterback decided to throw it his way:

“I wasn’t expecting no throws to come to my side, but I guess the quarterback made a bad read and there it goes again, Greedy Williams,” he said. “No receiver is ever open.”

Williams faces his toughest test of the season so far next weekend, when the Tigers travel to take on QB Jarrett Stidham and the Auburn Tigers. Will Stidham test his luck against Williams? We’ll have to tune in to find out.
