LOOK: Derrius Guice congratulates Maryland on landing ‘a great coach’ in former LSU OC Matt Canada

The LSU Tigers hired OC Matt Canada away from Pitt prior to the 2017 season expecting great things from his high-octane offensive scheme.
However, Canada and head coach Ed Orgeron never really got along, and that rift ensured Canada’s stay in Baton Rouge was a short one.
Star RB Derrius Guice is entering the 2018 NFL Draft, but before he focuses on the NFL, he wished his former coordinator well at his new job as Maryland’s OC:
Man @TerpsFootball y’all got a great coach and even better man in @CoachMCanada ??? #FEBU

Earlier on Tuesday, WR D.J. Chark said he still talks to both Canada and Orgeron, so it’s clear the LSU players still have a lot of respect for Canada.
That all just makes you wonder what really went on behind the scenes in Baton Rouge this past season.
