LSU basketball saw double-digit transfer portal entries after the coaching change from Will Wade to Matt McMahon. At least 2 of the portal Tigers have now decided to stick around in Baton Rouge.

LSU had announced that Justice Williams is removing his name from the portal to rejoin the Tigers and play for McMahon.

Out of Philadelphia, Williams reclassified into the class of 2021 and was rated 4-stars, No. 13 shooting guard and No. 55 player overall on the 247Sports Composite. As a freshman, he played in 20 games, averaging 1.7 points over 10.6 minutes.

McMahon is working to shape the 2022-23 roster. So far, Williams and Mwani Wilkinson have withdrawn from the portal. LSU has also added Murray State transfers Justice Hill and Trae Hannibal and Kendal Coleman from Northwestern State.
