LSU channeling Texas A&M's 'Kryptonite' with 3 Doors Down concert
Need a temporary distraction from the Les Miles saga and football mess going on in Baton Rouge this week?
Platinum-selling record group 3 Doors Down will perform a free concert alongside the Golden Band from Tiger Land during halftime of Saturday’s game against Texas A&M, LSU announced Monday.
“This is my most anticipated moment in my entire life,” said 3 Doors Down guitarist Chris Henderson. “Playing a show for my favorite team during a SEC game … It doesn’t get any better than that.”
The group’s debut album, The Better Life (2000), went six times platinum highlighted by the mega hit ‘Kryptonite’, which received more airplay than any song on the radio at the turn of the century.
