LSU coaching rumors: Another top candidate for job expected to remain at current school, per report

Published:
LSU’s coaching search continues, but the list of candidates is getting shorter and shorter.
Several big-name coaches have already reportedly agreed to stay at their current schools, including Mel Tucker, Luke Fickell, Hugh Freeze and others.
Now, we can apparently add Dave Aranda to the list. The former LSU defensive coordinator has reportedly agreed to stay at Baylor, according to Ross Dellenger:
As @PeteThamel mentioned, #Baylor has proposed a new contract to Dave Aranda and he has made a commitment to remain at the school, sources tell @SInow.

Aranda was one of the short list of candidates for the Tigers’ job, according to recent reports. Other names in the mix recently include Mark Stoops, Billy Napier, Matt Campbell, and others.
Where will the Tigers turn now? We’ll find out soon enough, but it seems Aranda is staying put in Waco.
