LSU is in the midst of a coaching search, as you might have heard.

Coach Ed Orgeron will not be back for the 2022 season, and the Tigers are on the hunt for his replacement.

One name that continues to come up is Oklahoma’s Lincoln Riley. But, would the head coach of the Sooners really leave the program he’s built to head to Baton Rouge?

Don’t count on it, says CFB insider Bruce Feldman. Feldman tweeted on Wednesday afternoon that he’s hearing Riley won’t be leaving Norman for Baton Rouge:

If Riley stays put at Oklahoma, that makes another big-name coach who it appears won’t be leaving for LSU. Jimbo Fisher has made it clear he’s happy at Texas A&M. Meanwhile, Mel Tucker is on the verge of a massive extension at Michigan State.

Where will the coaching search take the Tigers next? We’ll find out as the days go on.
