LSU’s football will look much different next year under new head coach Brian Kelly.

The latest Tigers player to turn pro is defensive back Cordale Flott, according to On3 Sports’ Matt Zenitz.

Flott has started for LSU over the last 2 seasons, and he posted 41 tackles, 1 tackle for loss, 4 pass breakups and 1 INT in 2021. The junior from Saraland, Alabama, has started 20 of the team’s last 22 games. He’s played both Nickel and cornerback during his career.

Flott opted out of the Texas Bowl against Kansas State.

The LSU defensive back played in 35 games during his LSU career, including 14 games during the Tigers 2019 national title season. He made 1 start that year, too.

Flott elected to sign with LSU over offers from Auburn, Alabama and Florida, among others, exiting high school.
