A member of LSU’s defensive backs corps appears to have entered the transfer portal.

Jordan Toles, a former 4-star recruit from Baltimore, signed with the Tigers in June 2019 as part of the class of 2020. According to 247Sports, he was considered the No. 5 safety in the country and the No. 80 player overall.

However, Toles is reportedly now in the portal, according to On3’s Matt Zenitz:

As a true freshman, Toles was credited with 4 tackles and 0.5 tackles for a loss across 8 games. In 6 games in 2021, he notched 12 tackles, half of those coming in the season opener against UCLA.

The Tigers open their schedule on Sept. 4 in New Orleans as they face Florida State in the Louisiana Kickoff. The game will be televised on ABC at 6:30 p.m. ET.
