The bad news continues to follow the LSU Tigers as defensive end Ali Gaye has reportedly been ruled out for the season because of an injury. Gaye is the third LSU player ruled out for the season this week. The others were wide receiver Kayshon Boutte and cornerback Elias Ricks. Cornerback Derek Stingley was already ruled out indefinitely.

At first, it looked as if Gaye’s injury that he suffered in the Kentucky game was nothing more than a stinger, but he announced Thursday, via Instagram, that he too would be having surgery.

This is news that the struggling Tigers did not want to hear as they face the Florida Gators Saturday, who will be looking for revenge after last year’s heartbreaking 37-34 loss.
