LSU drops dramatic hype video ahead of rivalry showdown at Ole Miss
The 108th edition of the Magnolia Bowl between LSU and Ole Miss is set for Saturday. The Tigers, ranked No. 1 in the College Football Playoff rankings, aren’t expected to have much trouble with the Rebels when the two teams meet at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Oxford at 7 p.m. ET.
Ahead of the matchup, the Tigers dropped a hype video narrated by Better Than Ezra frontman and LSU alumnus Kevin Griffin featuring highlights from last Saturday’s win against No. 5 Alabama.
LSU leads the all-time series 62-40-4 and is looking to extend its winning streak against Ole Miss to 4 games. Last year, the Tigers ripped the Rebels 45-16; each of the 3 games in the streak have been won by 2 touchdowns or more. Behind an offense led by Heisman hopeful quarterback Joe Burrow and with LSU not far off from its first SEC West crown since 2011 and a Playoff bid, this game may take a similar complexion.
