LSU’s defensive line got another shot in the arm on Monday with the announcement from Glen Logan that he would return to the Tigers in 2021 and join the entire starting defensive line with Ali Gaye, Neil Farrell and Andre Anthony to come back.

“Let’s do this thing, what y’all say,” and then tagged his D-line teammates on Twitter.

The slew of returnees is interesting since the position coach Bill Johnson, who coached the defensive line the past two seasons, retired following the end of the season, and the Tigers have yet to name a replacement. But a former defensive line coach himself, coach Ed Orgeron likely played a primary role in recruiting these players to return.

The senior from Kenner, Louisiana had 17 tackles during the 2020 season after he missed the first two games of the season.

Logan started 11 games during LSU’s championship season last year, was held out of the first two games this year for undisclosed reasons. The 339-pound senior was voted third team All-SEC by coaches in September.

A 4-star prospect coming out of high school, Logan came into this season with 37 career appearances and 23 starts.
