The LSU coaching staff took a lot of heat for the Tigers’ disappointing 2020 season. At least one LSU fan isn’t done letting Ed Orgeron have it for last year’s 5-5 season.
Jerit Roser shared Wednesday night that an LSU fan “congratulated” Coach O on being 2-1 after the win over Central Michigan.

Though the reminder likely stung, the fan is correct. LSU started 0-1 and alternated wins and losses to get to 3-3 before dropping back-to-back games to Texas A&M and Alabama. The Tigers managed to get to 5-5 by closing out the 2020 schedule with victories over Florida and Ole Miss. LSU did not go to a bowl game due to a self-imposed ban.
Orgeron’s squad will look to stay above .500 in 2021 with a win over Mississippi State on Saturday.
