LSU is well into the Halloween spirit ahead of its upcoming game against Auburn on Saturday. And it will be playing in the plum 3:30 pm ET CBS timeslot, seeking to improve its record to 3-2 on the season after a blowout win over South Carolina on Oct. 24.
The all-time series has favored LSU, who are 31-22-1 in 54 previous meetings. LSU has won 3 in a row over Auburn, including a 23-20 win last year in Baton Rouge that saw Joe Burrow throw for 321 yards, Ja’Marr Chase make 8 catches for 123 yards and Clyde Edwards-Helaire record 136 yards and a touchdown on 26 carries.
While Burrow and Edwards-Helaire are now in the NFL, Chase remains opted-out, with TJ Finley apparently in line to start a 2nd straight game in place of the injured Myles Brennan. And while some of the faces have changed, LSU hopes that its success against Auburn in recent years continues.
