The LSU Tigers have a talented team returning for the 2019-20 season, only losing Tremont Waters and Naz Reid from last year’s squad.

However, after this season, things get murkier, as some key guys will likely enter the NBA Draft once again. On Tuesday night, though, the Tigers added a key player to their 2020 class to help add some depth.

As you can see below, 4-star PG Jalen Cook — a Louisiana native — announced he was committing to coach Will Wade and the Tigers:

Per the 247Sports rankings, Cook is the No. 22 point guard in the class of 2020 and the No. 2 overall recruit from the state of Louisiana.

Cook is the first player to commit to LSU’s 2020 class, but with him on board, that class ranks No. 22 in the nation and No. 2 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
