LSU picks up pregame commitment from 4-star 2020 safety out of Virginia

No. 2 LSU faces a huge game against No. 9 Auburn on Saturday afternoon, and the day got off to a good start.
That’s because the Tigers landed a pregame commitment from a 4-star safety out of Virginia.
As you can see below, Malcolm Greene, a native of Highland Springs, Virginia, reportedly called in his commitment to LSU on Saturday morning:

Coach Ed Orgeron sent out his usual post-commitment tweet (which Greene retweeted), as you can see below:

Per the 247Sports composite rankings, Greene is the No. 27 safety in the class of 2020 and the No. 6 overall recruit from the state of Virginia.
The Tigers now have 23 players in their 2020 recruiting class. Prior to Greene’s commitment, that class ranked No. 3 in the nation and No. 2 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
