Jacob Hester has a nickname for LSU running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire — the spin doctor.

It certainly doesn’t need much clarification, as Tigers fans have watched Edwards-Helaire utilize his spin move numerous times during LSU’s 8-0 start to the season. He’s been a key contributor for the Tigers’ offense, rushing for 683 yards and eight touchdowns so far.

On Thursday, LSU tweeted a video featuring Hester, who was a running back for the Tigers from 2004-07, sitting down with Edwards-Helaire to break down some of the junior back’s highlights from the first eight games of the season.

Watch that video below:

If LSU is going to remain the No. 1 team in the country and potentially cap its season by winning the SEC championship and/or the national title, then Edwards-Helaire will likely need to continue to be a strong part of its offense.

After the bye this week, Edwards-Helaire and the Tigers return to action for their biggest game of the season, as they travel to take on No. 2 Alabama on Nov. 9 at 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
