LSU added to its 2022 recruiting haul with a 4-star pickup from Mobile, Alabama.
The Tigers on Monday received a commitment from Lucas Taylor of St. Paul’s Episcopal, a 6-foot-3 1/2 and 314 pound offensive guard, rated as a 4-star recruit by 247Sports. Taylor has offers from Florida and Arkansas, among others. This announcement comes after Taylor said he received his LSU offer in April.
Taylor is the seventh commitment for LSU in the 2022 class, which is ranked No. 1 in the country. Taylor is the No. 8 player at his position in this class, and the No. 12 player in the state, but the lowest-rated player of the class so far for LSU. He’s the first offensive lineman commit of this class, and the second lineman overall.
