LSU starting LT Dare Rosenthal announces plans for 2021 season
The LSU Tigers have a lot of experience returning to the field in 2021, and they got some more good news on Monday night.
That’s because starting LT Dare Rosenthal announced that he was forgoing the 2021 NFL Draft to return for another season in Baton Rouge.
With Rosenthal’s announcement, which you can see below, the Tigers now have their entire starting offensive line returning next fall:

Yes, LSU had a down year in 2020, but you only need to look to another SEC West team to see how important continuity along the offensive line is. Texas A&M got several key linemen back this fall and ended up losing only 1 game (to eventual national champion Alabama, no less). The line led the way, becoming one of the best in the nation.
Can the Tigers’ offensive line take a similar leap in 2021? Getting Rosenthal back is a huge boost!
Keep the good news rolling.. Go Tigahs!!
This sounds a lot like the offseason before the natty run…
Dejavu?
gimme a break. Flash in the pan. Won’t happen again.
You must be very new to football. It’s happened three times in less than 20 years. Showing ignorance isn’t your best look.
Probably not old enough to remember when Alabama was losing to the likes of Louisiana Tech and UL-Monroe.
Well now there is plenty of depth on the o-line. Next year is sizing up to be a good one for LSU.
That’s 19 returning starters. I can’t remember the last time LSU had 19 returning starters, including the entire offensive line and entire defensive line. They lose SS JaCoby Stevens, OLB Jabril Cox, and TE Arik Gilbert, assuming Gilbert changes teams. All three are good players, but getting the other 19 back more than makes up for the loss.
This is great news! I was thinking before they all decided to return we’d have a really inexperienced group this coming season. Still a lot of work to do but this is a positive.
They’re only 1 year removed from the Joe Moore Award hopefully there’s some culture there.
