LSU continues to stay on top of technological advances and this week unveiled air-conditioned helmets for his players.
Mac Markway immediately loved them: “That feels good, bro. If I’m running in this, I ain’t sweating at all. At all.”
Mekhi Wingo asked how long the AC lasts, and was told it’s for 5 hours, and Wingo added that the helmet feels “hella good.”
The helmets are made by New Orleans business TIGERAIRE, which says that it “created the Air Accelerator to help athletes, industrial workers and military personnel stay cool.”
The Tigeraire website also features this quote from Ja’Marr Chase: “Tigeraire keeps me cool and helps me get my wind back quicker.”
#LSU continues going above and beyond to ensure elite on-field performance.
Utilizing advancements in helmet technology is another piece this program has added.
