LSU players haven’t been afraid to express their confidence ahead of Saturday’s College Football Playoff semifinal showdown against Oklahoma in the Peach Bowl. On Thursday, Tigers WR Ja’Marr Chase shared his unfiltered thoughts on the Sooners secondary.

“I see a lot of fast guys. I know maybe one or two of them are pretty slow, but we just want them to feel our speed coming up the field,” Chase told reporters at Thursday’s media opportunity in Atlanta. “That’s how we get open.”

Chase isn’t the first LSU player to give Oklahoma bulletin board material ahead of Saturday. While K’Lavon Chaisson called the Sooners running game underrated, LSU LB Patrick Queen wasn’t shy about saying, “We are gonna dominate them.”

Chase and Queen’s quotes hardly come as a surprise. Tigers have talked a big game throughout the 2019 campaign and they head into the game 13-0. If they advance to 14-0, we can expect similar talk about Clemson or Ohio State.
