History with LSU
Wilson came to Les Miles’ staff in 2010 after a few stints around the Southeast as a position coach. He took on a much more high-profile role at LSU. He’s helped put together four top-10 recruiting classes, and the Tigers are currently ranked No. 16 by 247sports’ industry composite with only 15 commitments.
Offensive coordinator Cam Cameron considers Wilson his mouthpiece on the sidelines, trusting him to coordinate all the goings on during the game while Cameron is up in the box.
