LSU is struggling this year. Yes, this team is only 2 years removed from an epic national championship run, but things have gotten dark in a hurry in Baton Rouge.
On Saturday morning, the Tigers are hosting Florida in an 11 a.m. Central time kickoff against their SEC East rivals.
It seems fans are starting to check out of this season, particularly after a blowout loss at Kentucky last weekend.
As you can see below, Tiger Stadium wasn’t exactly rocking at kickoff for the home team. Plenty of empty seats to be found:

Now, that’s still a decent sized crowd, and one that many SEC schools would like to have. But, that’s not the norm for an LSU home game, certainly.
Death Valley during the day isn’t as intimidating as Death Valley at night. It’s also not as intimidating when the home team is 3-3 on the season.
We’ll see if the Tigers can defend their home field as the game wears on.
