Malik Nabers has had a sensational season even though the LSU wide receiver missed out on the Biletnikoff Award.

But with his early production against Wisconsin in the ReliaQuest Bowl, Nabers has set the LSU career receiving yard record. He has 3 catches for 23 yards. He did it with an 11-yard pass over the middle from quarterback Garrett Nussmeier.

The catch put him at 3,004 career yards, and that broke the record of 3,001 set by Josh Reed from 1999-2001

Nabers during the regular season had 1,546 yards and 14 touchdowns in 12 games. The Louisiana native developed a dependable and productive connection with quarterback Jayden Daniels over the last 2 seasons. Nabers put up 1,000-yard campaigns in each of the last 2 years.

Nabers will remember a special season in which he had the highest yards per game average (128.8) in the country. What’s more, he caught the 7th-most passes (86) and the 2nd-most touchdowns (14) this season.
