The NFL Draft starts next week, and even though many have been analyzing what could happen, no one knows for sure how the event will play out.
There are sure to be players who will fall and other players who will be drafted ahead of where they’re supposed to go.
On Wednesday, NFL.com analyst Lance Zierlein joined “3 Man Front” on WJOX and said he thinks LSU RB Derrius Guice could be one of the players who moves higher in the first round:
“I think Derrius Guice has a chance to,” he said. “After Barkley, I think Guice is clearly, in my estimation, the No. 2 back. … I think a team that is looking for a three-down back with the potential to really play at a high level, I think they could maybe draft Guice a little higher than anticipated.”
Guice is currently projected as either a late-first or early-second round pick, but Zierlein thinks a running back-needy team could make a move to take Guice sooner.
Only time will tell, but Guice will certainly be a player to keep an eye on next Thursday.
