The Atlanta Falcons released former LSU QB Danny Etling earlier this week, as they had 3 quarterbacks ahead of him on the depth chart.

However, Etling wasn’t without a squad for long, according to a tweet from ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Per Schefter, Etling was claimed by the Seattle Seahawks on Tuesday. The Seahawks play in the NFC West division and are expected to contend for a playoff spot in 2020:

The Seahawks currently have entrenched starter Russell Wilson, veteran backup Geno Smith and rookie Anthony Gordon out of Washington State at the quarterback position.

Etling has spent time with the New England Patriots and Atlanta Falcons since he was a seventh-round draft pick in 2018.
