With 2016 in the rear view, SEC teams are beginning to look to the future for scheduling.

A report via FBS Schedules on Wednesday states that the LSU Tigers will play the Utah State Aggies Oct. 5, 2019.

This home contest will cost LSU $1.5 million and will be the third meeting between the two schools. LSU has swept the two-game series so far, winning one in 1993 and one in 2001, both of which took place in Baton Rouge.

Though the Mountain West team may not be a household name in the SEC, they were riding a streak of five-straight bowl appearances until winning only three games last season. The Aggies have won at least nine games in three of the last five seasons.

This date with the Aggies will wrap up LSU’s non-conference slate, as Georgia Southern, Texas, and Northwestern State are all on the books for the 2019 season.
