LSU rising senior OL Andy Dodd won’t be suiting up for the Tigers in 2017, according to a 247Sports report.

After serving as C Ethan Pocic’s primary backup for the last two seasons, it is unclear why Dodd is going to transfer now that he may be in line for the starting job.

The former 3-star recruit from the class of 2013 has seen limited action in his three years playing for the Tigers, but he likely will search for a school that can offer him a much bigger role.

Dodd has not yet chosen a new school, but there figures to be a sizable market for an experienced SEC lineman who is eligible to play immediately.

Dodd will have one year of eligibility remaining for whatever school he ends up with in 2017.
