LSU WR Drake Davis, a junior, is facing major legal trouble after he was arrested on Friday for an incident dating back to June.

According to WBRZ, Davis allegedly assaulted his girlfriend, breaking one of her ribs in a domestic-violence incident.

Per the report, Davis has been charged with second-degree battery and his bond has not yet been set:

Davis, who is listed on the LSU Football roster as being 6 feet 4 inches tall and weighing 220 pounds, is accused of breaking one of the woman’s ribs in April. He also is accused of strangling her, punching her and ripping an earring from her ear during an attack in June, according to the warrant.

Police say in the warrant that Davis also texted the victim “I might kill you.”

In two years in Baton Rouge, Davis has recorded four catches for 153 yards and two touchdowns.

Coach Ed Orgeron has yet to address the arrest, so we don’t know what Davis’s punishment from the team will be at this time.

UPDATE: Davis has been suspended from all team activities:
