Alabama has held a commitment from 4-star 2019 QB Taulia Tagovailoa for a few months now, and for good reason — Tagovailoa’s brother, Tua, is dominating for the Crimson Tide.

However, the recruiting process is never over until a player signs a letter of intent, so it’s no surprise that Alabama rivals are sending coaches to watch the younger Tagovailoa play.

In fact, on Friday night, LSU coach Ed Orgeron and OC Steve Ensminger are in Alabama for Tagovailoa’s game against another Alabama quarterback commit (via 247Sports):

On Friday evening, Orgeron and offensive coordinator Steve Ensminger will be in Alabama watching four-star quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa, an Alabama commitment, and Thompson High take on another Alabama quarterback commitment in Paul Tyson and his Hewitt-Trussville squad.

LSU already has a 4-star quarterback committed in its 2019 class — 4-star Alabama native Peter Parrish. However, in this day of rampant transfers and constantly changing quarterbacks, you can never have enough throwers on your roster.

For now, Tagovailoa remains stout in his commitment to Alabama, but we’ll see if Coach O and Ensminger can change his mind.
