Travin Dural’s hopes of hitting the field in the regular season for the Saints appear to be in serious jeopardy as the former LSU receiver has reportedly suffered a significant training camp injury.

Following his four-year career in Baton Rouge, Dural went undrafted in the 2017 NFL Draft. He was signed by the Saints as an undrafted free agent and spent all of last season on the New Orleans practice squad. He racked up 100 catches for 1,716 yards and 13 touchdowns for the Tigers during his collegiate career.

Looking forward to getting an opportunity to play for the Saints in 2018, Dural suffered a humerus break during training camp according to Nick Underhill of The Advocate. Dural is expected to undergo surgery, leaving his status uncertain for the coming season.

New Orleans opened training camp late last week in anticipation for the upcoming NFL season.
