Scoring machine: Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette breaks NFL rookie scoring record against Pittsburgh
Leonard Fournette is having the kind of day the Jaguars hoped he’d deliver when they selected him with the fourth overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.
Needless to say, that lofty selection has already paid off with the club.
In only his second career playoff game, the rookie from LSU became the first rookie in NFL history to rush for two touchdowns in the first quarter of a playoff game. As if that wasn’t enough, Fournette added another later in the game to help push Jacksonville’s shocking lead in Pittsburgh in the Division Round over the heavily favored Steelers.
