The Kansas City Chiefs were forced to play much of the later portions of their AFC Divisional Round matchup against the Cleveland Browns without Patrick Mahomes, who was forced to leave the game following a concussion.

That provided an opportunity for players like former LSU running back Darrel Williams an opportunity to shine, even more so with Clyde Edwards-Helaire already missing from the lineup. And Williams, signed as an undrafted free agent before the 2018 season, ended the afternoon with 78 yards on 13 carries as the Chiefs advanced to play the Buffalo Bills in next Sunday’s AFC Championship Game.

With Williams enjoying success on the ground, the Browns defense was called out by FOX Sports personality Skip Bayless while taking a swipe at Williams:

Williams responded following the game, looking to set the record straight:

It’s certainly not the first time Bayless has been called out on Twitter by a professional athlete, and it won’t be the last. And while Williams and his teammates have unfinished business to take care of as they are 1 win away from playing in a 2nd straight Super Bowl, we’ll have to see if Bayless takes Williams up on his offer.
