It was pretty surprising when the entire 2020 NFL Draft passed without LSU TE Thaddeus Moss hearing his name called.

Moss, the son of NFL legend Randy Moss, quickly signed with the Washington Redskins after the draft ended, but he said on Wednesday that he had other options.

Indeed, according to Moss, the Cincinnati Bengals and New England Patriots also called him right after the draft, but he signed with Washington because the Redskins called first:

It’s interesting that he could have signed with the Bengals, as that’s obviously the team that took former LSU QB Joe Burrow with the No. 1 overall pick. Moss and Burrow formed a strong connection during the 2019 campaign.

Will signing with the Redskins end up being the right call for Moss? We’ll find out soon enough.
