Death Valley: Tim Tebow explains why playing at LSU is different from all the rest

Tim Tebow knows a thing or two about playing in Tiger Stadium. He finished his Florida career 1-1 in Death Valley.
Prior to the 2007 game which Florida lost, LSU fans got Tebow’s number and blew up his phone before the game to attempt to distract the Florida quarterback and get in his head. It somewhat worked that year, as the Tigers beat the Gators, but Tebow got revenge in 2009.
Tebow joined the Paul Finebaum Show Friday afternoon, and he explained why playing at LSU is just different from all the rest.
“I mean, we talk about stadiums around the country that are big, that are loud, that are intimidating. I got to play in a lot of the best ones. LSU is just different. LSU is different than all of them.
“When they play that buh bum bump, that place goes crazy. It’s louder than the rest. I’ll say this, a lot of places you show up for game time and they’re loud. LSU is loud when you show up for pregame warmups.”
Florida has a tall task going into Death Valley Saturday night, but it brings one of the most disruptive defenses in college football.
The Tigers and Gators kickoff Saturday night at 8:00 p.m. ET on ESPN.
