Two of the four QBs battling for LSU's starting job reportedly absent from Tuesday's practice
The LSU Tigers seemingly have a wide-open quarterback battle this summer, with four quarterbacks in the mix to win the job.
Those quarterbacks are Ohio State transfer Joe Burrow and 2017 holdovers Lowell Narcisse, Myles Brennan and Justin McMillan. Every rep will be important this fall, so that means a report on Tuesday raised some eyebrows.
According to reporters covering Tuesday’s practice, McMillan and Narcisse were absent:
New: #LSU QBs Justin McMillan and Lowell Narcisse are both absent from practice today for the first time during camp.

Obviously, this gives Burrow (who is probably the favorite to win the job) and Brennan plenty of extra reps, so it’ll be interesting to see what they make of them.
Now, though, we’ll have to wait for coach Ed Orgeron’s explanation for why two of the quarterbacks weren’t practicing on Tuesday.
