LSU senior OF Antoine Duplantis has been one of the best hitters in the entire country over the past few years, and now he stands alone in Tiger history.
Against Southern Miss in the Baton Rouge regional final on Sunday night, he broke Eddy Furniss’s all-time LSU record of 352 career hits.
Below, you can see him smack hit No. 353, drawing a huge ovation from LSU faithful:

Duplantis is No. 2 on the SEC’s all-time hits list, behind only current Mississippi State OF Jake Mangum. He and Mangum will continue to battle it out this postseason.
LSU is leading Southern Miss 3-1 right now. With a win, they’ll advance to the super regionals, which they’d get to host after Georgia lost its regional to Florida State earlier on Sunday.
