Mississippi State landed its second commitment Friday (21st overall) in RB Dillon Johnson (Greenville, Mississippi).

The 6-foot, 192-pound RB is ranked as the nation’s No. 19 athlete and the state of Mississippi’s No. 5 overall prospect, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings. Johnson committed to MSU over offers from Arkansas, Missouri and Oregon, among others.

Johnson became the Bulldogs seventh commitment of the month. He plays a variety of positions for his high school, but the Bulldogs recruited Johnson as a RB. He threw for nearly 1,000 yards and 12 TDs while rushing for over 1,600 yards and 18 TDs. The young man is a playmaker.
