Emmanuel Forbes breaks FBS pick-6 record, extending Mississippi State’s lead over ETSU

Emmanuel Forbes is the new FBS leader in pick-6s.
For the sixth time in his career, Forbes returned an interception for a touchdown, breaking records. Saturday’s score extended Mississippi State’s lead over ETSU.
The SEC record is also confirmed to be an FBS record by the Clarion Ledger.

With the extra point, Forbes’ pick-6 made it 28-0 Mississippi State over ETSU with 9 minutes left in the 2nd quarter. Mike Leach’s squad added another score at the 6:18 mark to make it 35-0, the score at the half on Senior Day in Starkville.
Forbes also has 2 tackles on the day (0.5 TFL) and 2 pass breakups.
MSU is cruising to victory, up 42-0 in the 3rd quarter. The game is streaming on ESPN+ and SEC Network+.
