Details have emerged following the Thursday arrest of Mississippi State freshman Kylin Hill for reckless driving.

Rated as a four-star recruit coming out of high school, Hill arrived at MSU’s campus in June. He was a Top 5 player from Mississippi and a Top 10 prospect for his position in the 2017 recruiting cycle according to 247Sports.

The Oktibbeha County Jail database confirms his arrest but the exact reasoning behind the charges were not initially known. According to Mississippi State beat writer Joel Coleman of Starkville Daily, Hill must have seriously pushed the limits of what his vehicle was capable of doing — as he reportedly registered a speed well over 100 miles per hour.

Mississippi State has yet to publicly address the situation. It will be interesting to see what, if any, discipline comes from these events.
