Mississippi State reveals uniform combination the upcoming Kentucky game
The Bulldogs are geared up for the team’s trip to Lexington.
Mississippi State heads to Kentucky looking to return to Starkville with a win for the second time in as many road trips this season after the Bulldogs won 44-34 against LSU in Baton Rouge in the 2020 opener.
These cross-division rivals have played annually dating back to the 1990 season.
Mississippi State won in Starkville last season, 28-13, which gave the Bulldogs a 24-23 edge in the all-time series between the two programs.
Winning at Kentucky hasn’t been easy in recent seasons, however, as Mark Stoops’ program is 13-4 at Kroger Field since the start of the 2018 season.
On Friday morning, Mississippi State revealed the team’s jersey combination for Saturday’s game.

According to Hail State Unis, Saturday will be the first time since the team’s Outback Bowl appearance at the end of the 2018 season that the team has worn this uniform combination.
This will be the first time that State has worn the Maroon/White/White color combination since the Outback Bowl at the end of the 2018 season.
It’ll be first time they’ve worn shiny maroon helmets with the M/W/W combo since the 2017 win at Texas A&M, nearly three years ago ? pic.twitter.com/8a8FOklELD
