Mississippi State loses commitment from second 2022 safety of the day

On Wednesday afternoon, 3-star 2022 safety Kylon Griffin decommitted from Mississippi State.
The attrition was just starting for the Bulldogs’ 2022 class, though, as another 3-star safety has decommitted from Mike Leach’s program.
As you can see below, Jourdan Thomas — an Alabama native — announced via Twitter that he was reopening his recruitment:

Per the 247Sports composite rankings, Thomas is the No. 61 safety in the class of 2022 and the No. 30 overall recruit from the state of Alabama. He is reportedly visiting Tennessee this weekend.
The Bulldogs are now down to 16 players in their 2022 recruiting class, which currently ranks No. 26 in the nation and No. 10 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
