Tolu Smith missed the first part of the 2021-22 season, as he recovered from an injury.

On Saturday night, in a win over Ole Miss, Smith went down with a partially dislocated knee. There was concern he could have torn some ligaments, too.

However, on Sunday morning, the Bulldogs shared some good news — an MRI revealed no structural damage to the knee:

Smith has appeared in 8 games this year, starting all of them. He was averaging 13.1 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game.

How long he remains out has yet to be seen, but this is a big loss for the Bulldogs as they try to climb the SEC standings.
