Update: Molly McGrath updated the situation via Twitter after the game, “Just spoke with Mississippi State representatives who told me that Kylin Hill was “woozy” on the sidelines, but never lost consciousness.”
There was a scary moment in Tuesday’s Outback Bowl when Mississippi State RB Kylin Hill collapsed on the sideline after taking a hit to the head. According to ESPN2 sideline reporter Molly McGrath, Hill lost consciousness.
The Bulldogs ball-carrier was evaluated and eventually returned to the game. He had 12 carries for 43 yards and three receptions for 12 yards in MSU’s 27-22 loss to Iowa in Tampa.
