Kelly Bryant is still a Tiger. However, this offseason, he switched from being a Clemson Tiger to a Missouri Tiger, where he’ll lead the Mizzou offense for the 2019 season.

When he took the field for his first action with his new team on Saturday during Missouri’s spring game, there were some familiar faces in the crowd.

That’s because former Clemson teammates Tee Higgins, Cornell Powell, Isaiah Simmons and others were in attendance to support Bryant. Per TigerNet.com, Clemson coach Dabo Swinney is proud of his players for showing Bryant some love:

“Guys come and go in the program, but relationships never end,” he said. “These guys are friends. He’s a graduate. He graduated. Some guys graduate and they go to the NFL. He just graduated and went to Missouri. But that doesn’t mean that their friendships end or their relationships end, that’s for sure. I think it’s neat that it worked out that way and those guys were able to go and support their former teammate.”

Bryant surely enjoyed seeing his old teammates, and it was a festive atmosphere in Columbia over the weekend.

Now, we’ll see what Bryant can do with his new group of Tigers.
