Eli Drinkwitz detailed his list of questionable and probable players to play this weekend, noting he’s “most concerned” for sophomore receiver Luther Burden.

“All of those guys are dealing with different things they’ve kind of battled through,” Drinkwitz said at his press conference on Tuesday.

The Mizzou star suffered an undisclosed injury in the second quarter against No. 2 Georgia this past Saturday. Details on his injury remain to be seen.

As of right now, Drinkwitz said, Burden is listed as questionable for this weekend’s contest against No. 17 Tennessee.

Burden has had an impressive sophomore campaign for the Tigers. He has 64 catches for 958 yards and 7 touchdowns. The sophomore had a stretch this season where he had 115-or-more receiving yards in each Mizzou’s games between Sept. 9 and Oct. 7.

During his freshman season with the Tigers, Burden had 38 catches for 329 yards and six TDs.

No. 12 Mizzou lost 30-21 to Georgia on Saturday. Senior tailback Cody Schrader ran for 112 yards and score on 22 carries. Senior receiver Theo Wease Jr. caught 5 passes for 90 yards. Quarterback Brady Cook completed just 14-of-30 passes for 212 yards, a TD and two interceptions.

The Tigers, now 7-2 on the season, will host the Volunteers this Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
