One of Missouri’s key players has declared for the 2019 NBA Draft as the school has announced that Jeremiah Tilmon has entered his name into the league’s pool of early entrants.

However, based on the rising junior’s comments, it sounds like there is a good chance that he could return to school next season if he doesn’t get back the grade he desires looking ahead to the NBA Draft.

“It’s always been a dream of mine since I started playing basketball to make it to the NBA,” Tilmon said. “I want to get everything I can out of this process. I’m excited to learn from it and get the feedback I need.”

Tilmon averaged just over 10 points per game last season for the Tigers. The official deadline to make a decision when it comes to the draft is May 29. Until that time, Tilmon is allowed to hire an agent, go through the NBA pre-draft process and still return to school.

“Jeremiah has a chance to take advantage of a valuable opportunity and gather information through the process to help him moving forward,” head coach Cuonzo Martin said. “We fully support him using the resources available and we’ll assist him in any way we can.”
