Missouri players, commit recruiting Notre Dame transfer receiver Jordan Johnson
Is Jordan Johnson heading home to continue his college football career?
Based on seeing some of the reactions online from Missouri players and a commit, it looks that way.
If you missed it, Johnson made the decision to transfer from Notre Dame after his first season with the Fighting Irish. Johnson cited a desire to start fresh as he announced his decision to enter the NCAA transfer portal.
A native of St. Louis, Johnson was rated as one of the nation’s best overall prospects in the 2020 recruiting cycle. He was listed as the No. 37 overall prospect in the country, the No. 6 receiver and the No. 2 recruit from Missouri in the 2020 recruiting cycle.
Now, after playing two games for Notre Dame, Johnson is back on the market and looking for a new school to call home.
Not long after Johnson announced his decision to enter the transfer portal, Missouri freshman quarterback Tyler Macon started recruiting the receiver to Columbia:

The same can be said for four-star Mizzou commit and fellow St. Louis native, Isaac Thompson:

As well as Mizzou defensive back Martez Manuel:

Whether Johnson left Notre Dame for Mizzou or not, he definitely has the attention of several Tigers hoping to add him to the roster.
